With one of the most modern, fully automatic BortolinKemo production lines BT‑Watzke produces 30,000 Vinotwist quality screw caps per hour which have a diameter of 30mm and a maximum length of 60mm.

The system produces the quality screw cap in a continuous working cycle. The high-tech production line cuts out 10cm diameter disks from printed or unprinted aluminium. Then, in three deep-drawing steps, a multi-cavity die forms the raw cylinders which are given the desired appearance by means of sophisticated painting and printing processes. The last and most sensitive production step is affixing the sealing disc. A press precisely positions the tin liner and the top groove fixes the disc without any adhesive.

 

By means of depth measurement, an optical system ensures that each of the 30,000 quality screw caps is provided with a sealing disc and meets the high quality standards of BT‑Watzkebefore the odourlessly and tastelessly packed caps are delivered to the customer.
